COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy. It's name is derived from the two areas that are concentrated on in the therapy; unhelpful thinking (cognitive) or behavioural issues which may occur as a result of, for example, depression. CBT aims to change the way of thinking, and help to understand how the behavioural issues may be linked.
